We can teach you how to play!

League Rules

  • A learn-to-play session can be requested for free.  Otherwise table fees apply 

  • You can use any car body you want but you must have an official Car Wars 6E base for your vehicle(s).  

  • If your car is an accurate Car Wars 6e vehicle, and fully painted, you get 1 re-roll per game.  

  • If you do not own a Car Wars car and cards you may rent 1 pre-built from Round Table Games for $10 per match ($5 if you are a Knight)

    • Must be Division 2,4, 6 or 8​

  • You may play any division you like in pick-up games, although some events may specify a division

    • Vehicles created for a division are specific to that division.  You may create another version of a similar vehicle but it each will be unique​

    • You must have a team name

    • Named crew members that are eliminated are out for the current season

  • Divisions (<=24 BP uses damage deck A, >24BP uses damage deck B)

  • League points​

    • Points earned are by team​
      • Match win = 3​

      • Score 5 or more scenario points but didn't win = 2

      • All others = 1

      • Achievements (worth 1 pt ea. each 1 can be claimed once per match)

        • “Them Duke Boys”: Do a bootlegger: do a D4 and try to exceed your control tokens by exactly 4.

        • “Crosseyed Gunner”: Hit an opposing car with a weapon from your left side and a weapon from your right side in the same turn.

        • “Broadside”: Firing two weapons from one side of your car and having both of them hit.

        • “Razor’s Edge”: Make a maneuver roll that drops you to precisely 1 control token, and remain in control until the end of the round.

        • “Figure Skating”: Make a clean control roll at speed 5.

        • “Bullseye” Make a max damage roll.

        • “The Old One-Two”: Eliminate an opponent’s last control token with your first firing action, then land an unopposed shot with your second firing action.

        • “Locker Room Fight”: Push your opponent into and through a wall, by causing enough damage to eliminate it.

        • “Their Own Petard”: Push your opponent into a mine they deployed on their immediately preceding turn.​

        • "Speed Demon": Drive at speed 5 two times in a row without taking tire damage due to maneuvering.

        • "Achievement Hunter": Score 4 achievements in one match

        • "Eagle Eye": Spot all 3 of your achievements achieved by somebody else (Someone else will have to play this on you)

        • "Joust": (2 Player Achievement) Fire two weapons at a car that you started the turn in each other's front arcs and end movement in each other's rear arcs.

        • "Clean Through": (2P A) Have the last point of damage remove the last point of armor on the opposite side of the car that was hit. Different name for being on receiving end.

        • "I hope you clone is paid off": Win a match with only 1 surviving crew.

        • "Sniper": Kill 3 crew with sidearms

        • "Darned Lucky": Win 3 rounds without winning a match.

        • "Down to throwing rocks": Make a kill with your Hand Cannon after having at least 2 mounted weapons destroyed.

        • "As Two Spent Swimmers": Both cars in a duel have zero tires remaining.

        • “Old Yeller”: finish your opponent with a hand cannon shot.

        • “You’re Fired”: One of your crew is eliminated by a fire you declined to put out.

        • “Denethor's Pyre”: your opponent is eliminated by a fire they declined to put out.

        • “This Is Fine”: your car has 4 fires on it simultaneously.

  • General Scenario benefits (some scenarios may offer additional rewards

    • If you were not eliminated you may choose 1​

      • Increase crew points by +1 and may add or replace any 1 card in your crew area using your new crew point total​

      • Increase BP limit by +1 and you may add or replace any 1 card equipped using our new BP total

    • If you were eliminated you may choose 1​

      • You may replace any 1 card in your crew area using your existing crew point total

      • You may replace any 1 card in your vehicle area using your existing build point total

  • League duration​

    • A season will end when a team has completed x events ​
      • League prizes in the form of store credit will be awarded and a new season will begin

      • The Car Wars Blaze Runner (title earned based on Joust League standings, re-set at the end of every month) earns a 10% off our Car Wars products and $5 off Car Wars events for the entire following month.

 

Any attempt to subvert or ignore the rules of the game, league, or store will result in, at minimum, loss of game, possibly extending to removal from current Cup play and/or the League.
