What is it ? This is a weekly Old School Essentials RPG run by DM Chris with multiple parties playing on different days but in the same campaign.  It begins on January 1, 2024. A grand experiment, indeed!

When is it? Every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, at 6pm, and Sundays at 12pm

 

Where is it? At Round Table Games, 128 Main St., Ste A., Carver, MA 02330

 

What does it cost?

The only way to guarantee a seat is to pre-pay prior to the day of the event. The event fee in this case is $15, but can be reduced by using points or as an option for Knights of the Inner Circle.

If you pay the event fee the day of it is $5 higher than normal

You can reserve a seat no more than 1 week in advance, unless you are a Knight of the Inner Circle. KIC members have the option of reserving up to the full month’s seats, and seats for the following month. Payment can be made at the store or a credit card number can be called into us at 508-465-1671. RTG will create the seat reservation(s) at the time of payment

Session seats are non-refundable and not transferable between players, games, or dates,

Seats will NOT be saved.  If a space is open it will be sold on a first-come/ first-served basis.  Only Knights can sign up more than 1 week in advance.

You must own a physical copy of any books whose content you are using. Otherwise you may play a class from the free rules.

You can play on multiple days but ONLY if there is space not taken up by someone who is only playing once a week.  In other words seats will be made available so everyone can play at least once per week before duplicate seats will be honored.  If you lose a spot due to this your subsequent session fee will be refunded or applied as store credit, your choice.  If you are able to play on ,more than one team, you must play different characters and must NOT meta-game.

How can I join? Email us at roundtablegamesma@gmail.com and, as long as we have space in a game, we'll answer any questions and arrange to take a credit card for the session fee at 508-465-1671. or you can purchase a ticket in the store.

We encourage new players to watch a session first.

 

What do you get?

• Everyone gets to have RPG fun with friends, old and new, in a friendly, warm, and welcoming environment.

• Everyone gets 3+ hours of gaming entertainment/ education

• If you are part of our RTG Free Rewards Program, you earn two card stamps for playing (Knights earn double stanps)

• Everyone who is a Knight of the Inner Circle earns points just for playing

• Knights of the Inner Circle are given a chip each session which is good for either 1 re-roll, or forcing the DM to re-roll

  • Natural 1's require 2 re-roll resources, as do DM Nat 20's, as long as a fumble/ critical system is in play​

• If you have purchased (or have on order) a Core rulebook from us for the game in question you get 1 free re-roll each session.

• If you have a mini that represents your race and class you get +1 to any roll. If it's painted get an additional +1.

• You get a +1 chip for every $10 you spend. These can be spent at any time, as long as you do not increase a roll beyond what the die could achieve, and it does not trigger "natural" rolled results.

• The player voted MVP each session will receive a full RTG Reward card, a bonus re-roll chip for the next week's session, and 1/20th of the XP needed to level in their class.
